A variety of executions from one single source

In our product range we have rectangular nuts, also called sliding nuts, in numerous versions and with different surface coatings. Thread sizes of M2,5 to M12 (1/8" to 5/16"), a material width of 5,00 to 40,00 mm and a material strength of 1,30 to 8,00 mm allow different application possibilities in many different sectors.

To fulfill the requirements of our customers always, you receive our rectangular nuts in four different materials: steel, stainless steel or brass. According to the requirements we produce our nuts in flat or alternatively in profiled execution. According to your wishes the rectangular nuts can be delivered surface-coated in various forms or also blank.

According to customer demands we finish the surface of our rectangular nuts by common galvanic coatings, thermal galvanizations (TZN) as well as by zinc flake coatings. At any time further surface coatings are possible on request.

Application possibilities in practice

In the connection technology of aluminium profiles the rectangular nuts of Vöhrs play an important role. Because of the fact that these profiles are used in many different sectors, the rectangular nuts can be used in a variety of ways.

Aluminium profiles are used in the building industry as shutter profiles and shutter guide rails. In the automation technology they serve as rail systems. In the automotive industry aluminium profiles are even processed to complete truck front modules or door modules and to decorative trunk rails. Also in the logistics aluminium profiles are required as storage platforms. Moreover rectangular nuts are used as fixing in mounting rails in the mechanical engineering, the electrotechnology, the solar industry, the automotive technology or also in the sanitary technology or the fair trade construction.
