From our range of products you can choose square nuts in different executions: with central thread or thread at one side in a diameter of M2,5 to M12 (1/8” to 5/16”). The wrench size can be 5,00 to 40,00 mm. The materials steel, stainless steel or brass are available in the strengths 1,30 to 8,0 mm and in flat or profiled execution.
In addition to a blank surface we also offer all galvanic coatings, thermal galvanization (TZN), zinc flake coating and other surface treatments on request.
Previously the square nut was the most widespread nut in the industry. A main reason was the simple production of squares by manual forging or the waste-free stamping.
Today square nuts are inserted in casing- respectively aluminum extrusion profiles and are subsequently provided with a nut-thread for the screwing of other parts. A square nut is also the main part of a cage nut.
Because of the fact that these profiles are used in many industries, the square nuts can be used everywhere in these sectors. In the electrotechnology they are used at switches and sockets, moreover they are used in the furniture industry, the automotive industry, the lamp industry and the automation technology. Furthermore casing profiles in which square nuts are used, can be obtained for the DIY-production of own casings.
Aluminium profiles are found in the building industry, the automation technology and in the automotive industry. Aluminium profiles are also required as fixation in mounting rails, in switches and sockets and as storage platform in the field of logistics.
